THE FAN CLUB TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS

On Sunday, Jauary 24, 29 of the 34 qualifing players showed up for the 19th Tournament of Champions. Nelson Oliviera went undefeated and took home $600. for his first place finish. This was Nelson's second Tournament of Champions title. Local favorite Scott Walker came in second for the 2nd consecutive time and collected $375. Third place went to Mark "Frenchy" Richards, fourth to Dan Pavao, fifth-sixth to Henry Leighton and Dave Soule and seventh-eigth to Mike Walker and Byrant Taylor. The total prize fund was $1,680. Our next Tournament of Champions will be held on August 29. The top two finishers of our weekly Sunday tournament qualify every week. Come down any Sunday at 1:00 and try to qualify. We have a Break & Run pool that's been $250. every Sunday for over a year.
